TheraCare Physical Therapy provides a variety of testing procedures for various patient and physician needs. The Wellness Test is a comprehensive evaluation of health, wellness, and general fitness level. This information is used to develop a personalized exercise program which will address each person’s fitness goals. Click here to read more about wellness testing at TheraCare Physical Therapy. TheraCare Physical Therapy also performs Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) for work related injuries.
There are two Bureau of Worker’s Compensation accredited transitional work program developers on the TheraCare Physical Therapy staff who specialize in treating Worker’s Compensation injuries.
The FCE is used by the physician of record in order to determine if an injured worker is ready to return to work and with what restrictions, if any. This four hour evaluation analyzes the injured worker’s ability to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, kneeling, ladder climbing, stair climbing, overhead reaching, crawling, and perform static and repeat bending activities. Detailed results are provided in easy to read format to the physician of record and case manager.
